For those of you who have come to this site looking  for support and/or inspiration as you seek to engage meaningfully with those less fortunate than ourselves, we hope that you have found something on this site to sustain you on this journey.

For those of you who are eager to find more sustenance, we would encourage you to visit the following sites:

Transformational Business Network is a loose association of people who are working on a range of projects all around the world, each one seeking to use business as a sustainable solution to poverty.

Hand-in Hand is a vibrant charity which establishes sustainable solutions to poverty through education and business.  Its founder, Grant Smith, is a tireless and irrepressible model for all of us who seek to make a difference in this way.

Village Savings and Loans Associates is a terrific alternative to Microfinance, which not only provides a source of investment to establish small businesses, but also reinvests in the community and develops local responsibility and relationships

Cries of a Seagull is Paul Williams’ site, cataloguing his work to establish business solutions amongst the poor in Siberia and Mongolia.

Aid for Trade is the brain-child of Mike Tyler who is working to develop micro-franchise opportunities in the most impoverished areas of the world, and to support these through a library of resources

Tesseract Management Systems (TMS) have a site with a wealth of freely available tools which help people think through their business decisions.  While these tools are not immediately targeted at very small businesses, they do have something to offer businesses that are beginning to grow.  TMS are also the sole financial supporters of our work.

If you are aware of any other sites which would provide something useful to our visitors, and which you would yourself recommend as a link, please let us know.
